August 6, 2011, 30 American military servicemen and a U.S. military dog were killed when a CH-47 Chinook helicopter with the call sign Extortion 17 was shot down in Afghanistan. These special operators were on the way to reinforce a group of Army Rangers who were engaged in the unforgiving Wardak Province of Afghanistan.
We created this memorial cuff to remember and honor the sacrifice of these brave Soldiers, Navy SEALs, and Airmen.
